Mayurika Chourdia, also known as Mayuri Chordia was born in June 1982. She is a British Indian Chartered Accountant & author, politician, artist and activist. She is based in London, United Kingdom. She is elected as a Member of Executive Council of Harrow West Association and Deputy Chairperson of Harrow West Association for Branches of Conservative Party UK. She has served extensively in the North West London including Greenhill, Harrow on the Hill, Headstone and West Harrow. She is a member of Conservative party & left no stone unturned for party success & great win of Rishi Sunak, Prime Minister of the United Kingdom and Leader of the Conservative Party since 2022.
She is a member of Conservative Women's Organisation and Conservative Friends of India also. She provided tremendous & unparalleled support for the campaigning during the London Mayoral Elections, in May 2024 and played a key role at the various levels in all elections since 2019.
Early Life & Education
Mayuri was born in a midsized town of Madhya Pradesh, Ratlam in the renowned family of Jain Community. She is the daughter of Pawan Kumar Chourdia and mother, Nirmala Chourdia. She has the heritage from King Sawai Madho Singh, Rajasthan and her ancestors were associated & rooted with, King Ratan Singh Rathore in the ancient time. She left her home town at the age of 17, to pursue her career in commerce field & moved to bigger city, Indore Madhya Pradesh and then financial capital of India, Mumbai Maharashtra.
She enrolled herself for Chartered Accountant course with The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India in 1999. Further, she completed B.Com. (Graduation, three years degree course) from the Vikram University MP and secured 93% Marks in Accounting subject. She has secured 97% Marks in Economics in Higher Secondary, Central Board of Secondary Education. She has been scholar & rank holder throughout her academics. She has been awarded with various awards & recognitions globally for her professional endeavours & incredible achievements.
Career
Mayuri Chordia is a Risk Professional & Transformational Leader with more than two decades of diversified extensive experience in the Banking & Financial sector across globe. She is a founder of global financial consultancy firm & her motto is “Perform Better, Grow Faster”. As a Managing Director & CEO, she partnered with top investment banks & consultancy firms at a global level. She started her career as a Risk Analyst in the Capital Market from 2001-2005 where she was used to operate trading terminals of National Stock Exchange and Bombay Stock Exchange.Later, she served as a Risk Advisor to various global Banks & Financial Institutions. She held several executive corporate positions in last two decades in the Banking & Financial Sector across globe.
As an Investment Banker & Auditor, she has partnered with Deutsche Bank, Barclays Bank, Royal Bank of Scotland. GlaxoSmithKline Plc, ICICI Bank and various other corporate entities. Her other corporate clients include FTSE 250 companies, Small & Medium Enterprises, public sector bodies and professional services organisations. Within the financial services sector, Chordia worked with retail and investment banks, hedge funds, asset managers, insurance, mutual funds and capital market. As a subject matter expert, she played a vital role in the negotiations with the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and the Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA).
She is an Author who had started writing at the early age of 14. She has published her debut book of poetry in 2021 and that recognized her as a Best Selling Author. Her professional background & diversified expertise across the globe, makes her truly a global leader. She mentioned during various media interviews that readers can expect motivational books, fiction, nonfiction books and her biography in the future.
Personal & Social Life
Chordia has been active in politics since her college days and she was used to write speeches, articles for political parties in early days of her career. She is associated with multiple religious, social, charitable entities & NGO’s at a global level to make a difference & to bring a change in the society. She closely works and provides her services to British Heart foundation, Rotary International and various other social and charitable organizations in diversified areas.
Apart from all above, she is a multi talented personality who loves singing, dancing, acting, modelling, etc. In her interviews, she mentioned that once up on time she wanted to join the Indian Police Services (IPS) as she was inspired by Kiran Bedi and she has practised Karate up to a remarkable level (Yellow Belt). As a passion, she has done modelling & acting at her early stage of career along with her higher studies & signed bollywood movies also however her main focus & ultimate goal was to become a Chartered Accountant.
At the age of 16, she wanted to become a Jain monk & during her spiritual journey, she learnt about Jainism. Vedas, Reiki, Aura reading, Energy healing, meditation etc. She is a social person & strongly believes in 'Live & Let others Live'. She is an individual who has a rare combination of unique qualities of both the world physical & the spiritual.

Chordia has been awarded and recognized at a global level for all her special achievements & incredible contributions in the social, religious, economic, cultural & business fields. She was awarded with ‘Young Achievers Award 2023’ in the House of Commons British Parliament UK London. The award was presented by Sarah Owen (Shadow Minister for Local Government & Faith), in the presence of; Bob Blackman (Member of Parliament & Executive Secretary of the Conservative Committee), Gareth Richard Thomas (Minister for Trade Policy) and all other distinguished personalities.
She was shortlisted & nominated by South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA) Committee for the ‘Woman Star of the Year Award' 24. The South Asian Federation of Accountants is a forum of professional accounting bodies in the South Asian Association of Regional Cooperation (SAARC) region of eight nations, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan & Sri Lanka.
She has been recognized by Government of India & as an Author, she was featured in the magazine published by High Commission of India, (Indian Embassy) in UK India House London in March 2024.
Chordia was recognized by various global banks and multinational companies including Barclays Bank, Royal Bank of Scotland etc for implementing various risk transformational projects. She was recognised under various categories, Focused Women, Excellence in Accounting award, Excellence in Economics award and she was state level winner of debate competition in her college days.
